HOW TO

Clean & Store Your Coiled Hose & Shower

Proper cleaning and storage helps extend the life of your Beach Soul Shower.

Always allow the hose and shower head to fully dry before storing, especially if packing your shower away in a sealed bag, box, or airtight container.

Coiled Hose Help & FAQs

My coiled hose keeps unscrewing or air is escaping. What should I do?

If the hose is not screwed on correctly to the tank thread, air can escape and the connection may loosen during use.

Watch the video above, then try these steps:

  1. Unscrew the hose connector cap and remove the tube completely.
  2. Move the screw cap connector up and down to loosen it.
  3. If the cap is very tight, you may need to use a little extra force.
  4. If the o-ring is stuck inside the cap, use a narrow object to release it and reposition the ring.
  5. Re-attach the tube to the hose, then attach the hose back onto your shower.
  6. Turn the cap clockwise to tighten it securely in place.

The coiled hose may loosen from time to time with regular use, especially if it has been stretched or moved around a lot. Check and tighten the connection as needed.

Why has my coiled hose developed a pinhole leak?

Pinhole leaks can occur when the hose or shower head is stored wet for long periods, especially inside a sealed or airtight container. This can cause the material to break down over time.

Always allow the hose and shower head to fully dry before storing your shower away.

Are pinhole leaks covered under warranty?

Pinhole leaks caused by storing the hose wet for long periods are considered preventable damage and are not covered under warranty.

How can I help my replacement hose last longer?

After use, empty your shower, allow the hose and shower head to fully drain and dry, and avoid storing them wet in a sealed bag, box, or airtight container for long periods.
